Our parish vision statement is "Encountering Jesus - Making Disciples - Transforming Lives." This vision emphasizes the important role our community and each one of us plays as members of the Body of Christ. It encourages us to grow in our relationship with Jesus, mature as disciples, live in the power of the Holy Spirit, and share God's saving love and mercy with those who do not know him.

The Pastoral Council serves a crucial role in helping to make important decisions that will impact our parish. The St. Gerald Pastoral Council is a mission-focused visioning body. Its primary responsibility is to discern the will of the Holy Spirit for the parish. As vision planners, the council's secondary responsibility is to assist the pastor and his Servant Leadership Team in the process of creating a long-term pastoral plan (3-5 years) that will help our parish live out its vision. The Pastoral Council is composed of dedicated and trusted advisors selected by the Pastoral Council.
