Ministry Of Mothers Sharing

Mission statement

The Ministry of Mothers Sharing (MOMS) creates in women an awareness of the inner sacred self, while at the same time teaching them new ways to inspire, encourage and affirm each other. Through the process of personal and spiritual growth, women have the opportunity to clarify their values, claim their own giftedness and bring these new strengths to their family relationships and to the Christian Community.

To gather mothers together to form a network of mutual support in a chaotic society; To provide a group experience of learning, praying, and ministering to each others; To introduce mothers to opportunities for personal and spiritual growth through group dynamics; To increase communication skills and use of prayer rituals in daily family life; To increase their awareness of the community resources and provide opportunities for ministry.

This ongoing ministry guides members through such topics as: Self-Esteem and Self-Acceptance; Stress, Worries, and Anxiety; Everyday Spirituality; Feelings; Personal Growth; Expressing Your Values in Friendships; Celebration of New Beginnings and Discernment: Continuing the Journey.
