What is the Guardian Angel Dinner and Auction?
The Guardian Angel Dinner and Auction ("Angel Auction") is the largest annual parish/school fundraiser organized and planned by fellow parishioners and school parents. The Angel Auction has become a special tradition at St. Gerald and 2023 will mark the 25th anniversary of the event. The Angel Auction Committee is proud to present this year’s event Chair, Amber Preston. While a very important aspect of the event is to raise funds, it is also a celebration of fellowship. This year’s attendees will experience a festive gala full of wonder and delight to commemorate the event’s Silver Anniversary. The event is April 15, 2023, at St. Gerald School 6-9p.m.
Special Items to Note for 2023
In honor of the Silver Anniversary we will return to having a plated dinner. The cocktail reception and full-service bar will still be included. You will also have the option to request your preferred seating partner(s) up to 8 per table.
What is the theme?
The Angel Auction Committee has selected the theme Tale as Old as Time. You can dress the theme (belle of the ball, the dashing prince, or the rueful beast) or in cocktail or dressy business attire.
How are the funds raised at the Angel Auction used?
Funds raised this year are earmarked to provide support for much needed school capital and operational improvements. This year, the focus for funding is to “refresh” the school by renovating another set of restrooms, and replacing windows and carpet. We set the fundraising goal at $80,000, but we would love to exceed the goal and make additional renovations and updates to our school!
How can you help reach our fundraising goal?
It is simple... we prayerfully ask that all of our parishioners consider contributing in one or more of the following ways: Donate! Serve! Attend!
For the past four years, we've partnered with a full service, mobile bidding firm to help us manage our auction and more fully engage our attendees. We will once again be using mobile bidding which allows participants to engage in the event registration, raffles, games, and more!
